Another playground closed by NYU with no reopen date (nor any work being done) in sight.
This is the gate of the “rocket ship playground” between the Silver Towers. The sign says that dates will be provided in days, but these photos were taken August 6 and the sign is dated June 11, 2012….
The playground in front of Coles is padlocked (and has been for about a decade), and now this one is also out of service. Classic NYU.
Here is a photo of the broken concrete, partly covered by plywood and with a big ball partly stuck on the gap.
