Next (and last official) stop: City Council. Please contact your local councilmember and ask, as a constituent, her or him to vote NO on the NYU 2031 Expansion Plan to overwhelm Greenwich Village. If you’re not sure who your councilmember is, you can type in your address at http://council.nyc.gov/html/members/members.shtml (which also has a list of all councilmembers). Using the web-based contact form gets your message automatically received and recorded.
City Council will hold a hearing – the date is likely to be sometime between June 21-29. More info to come as soon as the hearing is scheduled.
